Andrew Funkhouser

Andrew is a board-certified nurse anesthetist with more than a decade of experience as a chief nurse anesthetist. He has seen firsthand how gaps in pre-procedural preparation affect patients, nurses, and the operating room.

When he could not find a solution that worked, he founded PreOpSure to start screening earlier, give clinicians more time for follow-up, and bring anesthesia-level concerns to the clinical team before the day of surgery.
