How it works · Built by anesthesia clinicians
From a procedure roster
to a prepared patient.
Screening calls happen in parallel. Findings come together for review. Your clinicians work through preparation needs, with the right clinical context and a clear next step.
Start with the cases
on your schedule.
Upload a CSV roster, check the column matches, and review the patient details. Your team launches outreach from there. Facilities with an Epic connection can also import selected patients for screening.
Epic availability depends on your facility’s connection and setup.
Let the conversations overlap.
Claire, PreOpSure’s automated voice agent, can screen multiple patients at the same time. Completed results become available for review while other calls continue. Patients who need another contact attempt remain visible for follow-up.

Completed screenings move to review.
Bring the clinical picture together.
After the call, screening notes, reported medications, clinical alerts, and matched facility protocols come together in the patient record. The recording and transcript keep the patient’s own words within reach.
Review the findings.
Work through the details.
Clinicians verify what was reported, clarify missing information, and document follow-up. Readiness tasks keep preparation needs visible alongside the clinical record.

Bring concerns to the right clinician.
When a finding needs physician input, your team can escalate it with a clinical question. Medication questions, outstanding records, and unresolved concerns stay visible as follow-up continues.
Keep the final decision with your team.
Your clinical team determines when preparation and review are complete. Physician review, readiness tasks, and final verification have distinct roles. A finished screening call does not clear a patient for surgery.
Every patient has a next step.

What if a patient does not answer?
Claire can retry unanswered screening calls automatically. Your team can follow up on remaining no-answer or incomplete-assessment cases in Call Backs, keeping that work visible alongside completed screenings.
Can we use our own standing orders?
Yes. Authorized facility staff can maintain protocols in Settings. Relevant matches appear alongside the patient’s findings for clinical review.
See facility protocolsWho completes the final verification?
Your clinical team reviews the findings, resolves outstanding concerns, and completes the required verification. PreOpSure organizes the information and workflow; clinical decisions remain with your team.
